Pictures from the Manchester City training ground show that Erling Haaland’s problem is not too serious.
During this November training session, Haaland came off the bench as Norway won 2-0 against the Faroe Islands. However, he was forced to leave the field at the end of the match because of an injury to his left ankle.
The Norwegian team faced Scotland in the final round of EURO 2024 qualifying. However, Haaland could not attend the match.
Haaland quickly began his recovery process to prepare for Manchester City’s next Premier League match. It was the match welcoming Liverpool at the Etihad.
There have been concerns about Haaland’s absence. However, the latest images from Man City’s training ground show that Haaland is completely healthy and is eligible to play against Liverpool, at least on the bench.
The 23-year-old has scored 17 goals in 18 appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side this season.
Man City is facing a series of different injuries. Mateo Kovacic, Nathan Ake, Matheus Nunes and Ederson, John Stones, Sergio Gomez and Kevin De Bruyne all have problems, while Rodri’s health is also unknown.
